Zoodles
Zoodles (Zucchini Noodles)
This is a great way to have grain free noodles. Just take a zucchini and use a spiralizer. I bought mine at Amazon.com.
Creamy Avocado Sauce
This is my first time trying this recipe. I already have a few ideas on how I want to change/add ingredients. Just thought I'd post the first round and I'll post later on how I changed the recipe.
I took 3 ripe avocados, a handful of fresh basil, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 handfuls of cherry tomatoes, salt and pepper to taste. All ingredients went into the food processor and turned it on. Once the ingredents started to combine I added 2 tablespoons of avocado oil.
This is what it looks like when it's done!
I took the sauce and heated it up on the stove.
I had mine over zoodles.
I know it doesn't look the best, but it does taste good! |

Iced Green Tea with Chia Seeds
Chia seeds are my new favorite food! I pretty much add it to whatever I can. Just started adding it to my iced green tea.
This makes for a great refreshing drink! I just add a scoop or two of chia seeds to my tea and sweeten it with maple syrup!
Enjoy!

Banana "Ice Cream"
Banana "Ice Cream"
Ripe Bananas is all you need.
There are two ways of doing this. You can cut the bananas up in little pieces and freeze them. Once frozen place them in a food processor, or I'm sure a blender would work too, and once the bananas are ice cream constancy, eat!
The other way is to take ripe bananas smash them in a bowl, I use a fork, and place in freezer until frozen.
So easy and so good! Plus it's ONE ingredient!
I did add chocolate chips on top!! |

Grain Free Tortilla
I have finally finalized my grain free tortilla recipe! It's been about a month since I first started working on this. I can say this is MY very own recipe. How I came up with it is, I took our tortilla recipe (wheat) and then changed almost every ingredient except water and butter.
I start out with:
60 grams of Garbanzo & Fava Flour
60 grams of Tapioca Flour
pinch of salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cream of tarter
1 teaspoon xanthan gum.
Remove the dough from food processor. I put the dough on parchment paper.
Then divide into four. I use a food scale and weigh out the dough so it's exact.
Get your tortilla press out!
Then use a rolling pin to get the dough thinner.
I roll it in parchment paper.
Follow all the directions above.
I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!!

60 grams of Garbanzo & Fava Flour
60 grams of Tapioca Flour
pinch of salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cream of tarter
1 teaspoon xanthan gum.
Put all dry ingredients in a food processor and pulse a few times to combine ingredients.
Add 20 grams of butter. Pulse in food processor until combined.
Add four tablespoons of water. The turn on food processor until it balls up.
I combine all the dough into one big ball.
Cover the dough and let it rest for about an hour. If it's longer than an hour it's no big deal.
I roll it in parchment paper.
To cook these, you get a skillet hot. I put my burner on medium high.
That's it! If you aren't going to need them all at once you can put them in the fridge. I put parchment paper in between each tortilla and put in a ziplock.
